As the founder & Editor-In-Chief, I met many inspiring established & upcoming music workers in the music industry. I created this platform as a form of resistance; most of the music publications at the time were elitist and were not promoting upcoming or underrated musicians. I was fed up by this system and decided to create my own reality.
The project grew quickly and started getting respect by many labels & other cultural agents in the industry.
It taught me skills I would have never learned in any other company. I learned how to be an entrepreneur the long way but I also learned many digital skills such as UX/UI, Graphic Design, Coding, Social Media Management, Community Coordination...which are essential skills when developing your own brand.
The community behind Bizaarbazaar is the best outcome of this project. As a musician, I used Bizaabazaar as a tool to bring together artists physically but also digitally.
My role involved conducting/writing interviews, designing products, maintaining the blog via wordpress, designing a website, social media management, curating compilations, hosting radio shows & curating events.
